Growing up an “Air Force Brat,” Victoria snatched interactions with horses as best she could, finally buying her first horse in college. She has a DVM degree and an MA in comparative psychology from The Ohio State University. She is a Charter Diplomate of the ACVB and a Professor at Western University of Health Sciences. Although her professional life has primarily been devoted to clinical animal behavior of dogs and cats, horses have been a common thread throughout her career. She recently contributed chapters and functioned as the Section Editor for Behavior in the third Edition of Blackwell’s Five-Minute Veterinary Consult, Equine and is looking forward to devoting more time to horses. vvoith @ westernu.edu
