Getting Here
By Air:
- Orlando International (MCO) has numerous non-stop flights from many cities. Only 2 miles from the hotel; free shuttle runs approximately every 20 minutes (call hotel for pick up). When arriving, allow 15+ minutes from gate to shuttle if you only have carry-ons; add 30+ minutes if you have checked baggage. When departing, check in 90 minutes prior to flight (if you have TSA PreCheck, you can cut it closer).
- Orlando Sanford International is about 30 miles away; you’ll need a rental car or taxi, allow at least 45 minute drive time.
Driving:
Based on personal experience, easiest drive if you are coming down from the North is to take I-75 south to the Florida Turnpike (toll), to 528 East (toll), to S. Semoran Blvd. North. Traffic on I-4 in Orlando is usually very heavy; not certain about I-95 south from Jacksonville. If considering these routes, recommend checking Waze or other real-time navigation apps.
