Terry took her first riding lesson at the age of seven, and never stopped. She has studied under some of the best in the dressage world, including Jessica Ransehousen and Kim LItwinczak. She has her B Pony Club rating (earned while at riding school in England) and has a BS degree in Animal Science. She currently competes in USDF dressage shows with her Paint gelding. Twenty years ago she read Don’t Shoot the Dog. Not long after, Terry met Karen Pryor, and they became close friends. Their long conversations have shaped Terry’s approach to horses (and life!) Terry is a KPA-CT and a member of the IAABC. She teaches riding to both backyard horse owners and competitive dressage riders, and also takes on clients with behavioral issues. In November of 2017 she was a presenter at Equine Affaire. Terry has an active blog and website at: www.cooperativehorse.com, and can also be found on Instagram and FaceBook.
